Entry. Stamina.

A few things that I forgot to mention lately: last Thursday I put the clutch master cylinder in the truck, took me about twenty minutes. Saturday night I stayed up until 22:30, amazing myself again, forty hours awake. I got up at 08:30 on Sunday, and I didn't get to bed until 00:30 this morning, and I didn't get to sleep until long after that.

And then I was up at 05:45 this morning and off to work. Work wasn't too bad, I was the runner today, and it wasn't really all that busy. But I missed veins on the first two people that I stuck, but both of them said that everyone misses the first time, so I didn't feel too bad.

I need to get my driver's license renewed (before my birthday Saturday) so I went out to the place today, and dammit, they're closed on Mondays! So that's chore that I'll have to do tomorrow, since I'm leaving right after work on Wednesday to go see Mom and then on to see the boys in Texas.

And I'm too mind-tired tonight to work on Tyler's computer, that'll have to wait for tomorrow, I'm afraid. I think that right now I'd be too dangerous with a screwdriver, heh.

But not too dangerous for a keyboard! But I'm getting dangerous *with* a keyboard, I'm learning "Twilight Time" and I'll soon be learning "Blue Moon", both good old songs that I've loved forever. O'yeah, and "San Francisco", can't forget that one.

I'm on call tonight, and the evening tech told me that he may have to leave early, the brother of his SO was badly hurt in an MVA this morning. The night tech that does CTs doesn't come in until 21:00, so I might have to cover a coupla hours, but I really hope not. I'm pretty tard, and I have a lotta driving to do in a coupla days, so I needs mah rest.

How 'bout that stuff in Haiti, heh? One report said that Aristide, the duly elected pres, was kidnapped by (*gasp*) American troops and whisked off to Africa.

CNN had a voice interview with the man himself, who said that this was true. American officials (Colin Powell) said he was lying. Is Powell kept perpetually in the dark about these things?

In this case, it's hard telling who's telling lies, since they're all so used to it and do it (they think) so well. As a famous general once said, "Kill 'em all and let god sort them out."

I might be kinda funny this way, but once someone lies to me about a matter that I deem consequential, I never trust another word they say. Not for years and years, anyway. That includes most politicians and all preachers, priests, shamen, witch doctors and other preacherly people and scam artists.

Well, OK, it's 19:30 and time for some sleep.

Thanx for being here!
