OK day at work, nobody died. Ran a bunch, since I was the runner, but it really wasn't too bad. I work with a great bunch of people, I do.

I found out yesterday that the night tech on weekends was leaving, it seems that he wasn't really quite out of the army, still on active reserves, so he gets to go to Afghanistan for a year.

Which means that there is an opening on nights.

And yes, I'm thinking about it, I am.

Yeah, I'm kinda getting bored. There is still some challenge left with CT, but not too much. And the hospital isn't doing anything about getting us upgraded so that we can do neater things, we can just read about them on the web.

The job would be working weekends, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, doing both x-rays and CTs. And I think that I could finagle a pretty hefty raise out of it too, in addition to the ten percent differential. Definitely something to think about.

And as much as I loved the seven-on, seven-off schedule that I used to do, it would probably kill me now. I really don't think that I would have a problem with three twelves.

And I would get back to doing trauma radiography, my first love.

Anyway.

I'm going in at 07:00 tomorrow, and going to work on the clutch on the truck when I get home tomorrow. It's supposed to get up to 50°F or so, not nearly as nice as last weekend, but it's gotta get done, and tomorrow seems to be the best shot at it.

But I better get to sleep pretty quickly, heh. 05:30 will come awfully early, it will.
