Shoes in the winter Not really a very good day for a Saturday, dammit. For one thing, I really wasn't able to sleep past 08:00... and I went to bed at 02:30 or so, and had trouble getting to sleep even then. Karen went out to get her hair cut & colored and that left me home alone all afternoon. She looks really nice, if I had more ambition I'd take a picture. My ambition seems to have left me, along with my digestive system. No, dammit, it's still here and I wish it wasn't. Upset tummy all afternoon and still continuing. I'm really not up to being sick, dammit. I've got other things that I want to do with my time than sit around belly-achin'. Literally and figuratively. I'm finally back on my main machine, or the hard disk drive anyway. It's nice to be home. I still need to get the server working again, though. And speaking of computers, Andy found one in the trash at his apartment and brought it over. It's got a half-way decent HD in it, and a 4X CDWR and a floppy that I can salvage, but it's a pentium 133 or something like that, and there was no memory in it either. So a stripped-down version will hit the trash here next week. O'yeah, and it had a SCSI card in it too that's probably worth something. The CDRW has both a SCSI and an ATA interface on it, interesting. I'm sure that Andy will want me to put that into his machine. Well, I was gonna write some more here, but I'm not.
Absolutely for cold feet
Summer, come quickly.
