Daily Nilknarf Haiku

Forevermore is a
Convenient fiction, but it
Makes us think deeply.

And there's nothing the matter with a little deep thinking, if you don't let it get out of hand.

Pretty dull day today, no excitement at work and none at home, either.

I've got a problem, though; I'm afraid that a spammer has gotten into either my home network or into the server at Liquidweb. I'm getting dozens of "returned" emails that I never sent out, rejected by people that I've never heard of. And the return addresses are all to kjhdfs@nilknarf.net or some such fictional name.

I can't seem to convince them that it's not me, though

So I'm gonna find some way of limiting who can send mail through that account, I guess, and make sure that there are no back doors on my machines.

Got sidetracked there for a while, trying to figger out why spamassasin doesn't work on any of my sub-accounts but only on the main one. I would like to be able to filter spam for everyone with a nilknarf.net addy, but that doesn't seem to be possible.

Didn't come any closer to figgering out the other problem either, dammit.

And it's too late for me to still be thinking, I think.

O'wait, I made another important discovery tonight; I'm not a very good musician when I'm stone cold sober. Heh, imagine that.

Ot maybe my ears are just better?

Thanx for being here!
