Weekends never enough
No time period in this life
Ever is, dammitall.

Pretty much a wasted day here. Karen and I went out to Stinger's last night, and the place was packed. We did have a good time, though, danced a little, but Karen is still really wrung-out, so we made it an early evening.

And a late, late morning. I think that it was 11:00 before we got out of bed. That's bad news for me, of course, since I'll be up at 06:30 tomorrow.

No more whisky.

But maybe a few more cigars. One thing at a time here, I decided. But the plan is to cut way down anyway.

Karen made her famous lasagna today, and it was, of course, wonderful. Her kids all came over, and I don't know if there's any left or not. I only ate one portion, but it was a rather large portion.

Before that, I had gone over to Melaine's to work on her machine, and damned if I didn't get it going, just like the directions on the web site said. I wish that they had been a little easier to find the first time I looked. Goes to show ya, you just can't give up the fight too early with these infernal machines.

So she's up and running and spending all of her money shopping online tonight, heh.

Nothing much else going on here, most of my free time has been spent doing laundry and playing the keyboard. I'm kinda getting into the organ sound now and away from the piano, I don't really know why. Next week I'll probably get into the ukulele or something else. Which reminds me, brother Dan told me about a japanese instrument and I was going to google it, but I forgot what it was. Maybe I should just google "ancient Japanese stringed instrument" and see if that get me anything.

But of course it did. All kindsa stuff for sale on eBay, natch. Koto, a weird instrument indeed. Now I need to go get some koto music and listen to it.

No, now what I need to do is go to bed. I hope that y'all had a nice weekend.

Thanx for being here!
