Dammit, I got up late again today. Rish, rush, rush to get to work, but I made it there on time. And it wasn't a bad day, work-wise. Not nearly as bad as yesterday. Karen is on her way to Parsons tonight, her ex-husband lives there, and she's going with the Patrick and Lacee and Kim, and Matt and Brian are driving down too. I came real close to inviting myself but decided against it. I'm really looking forward to catching up on my sleep. I got next Friday and Monday off, a four-day weekend, to go see Mom in Enid. I think that I'm making some guitar progress, my left hand is getting used to the demands that I'm putting on it now. Slow, but still, progress. However, I'm kinda rethinking guitars in general. Guitars have maintained their general design mostly because that's the way acoustic guitars were built, the had to have an acoustic sound, 'cause that's all that there was. But really, anything with frets and pickups will work. And I can't believe that I'm the only person who's ever thought this, y'know? In fact, JD has also spent a lot of time thinking on this. But I'm thinking smaller. Yeah, that makes me a small thinker, right. Rainy here, gloomy, the kinda weather that I really like. Of course, if it persists I will hate it. Part of what I love about Kansas is the changes in the weather. I hate boring weather. And I have nothing more to say, so I'll stop.
