Mundane Monday. Nothing to get excited about, certainly. Monday is the day that I fill up my pill-by-the-day containers, one for the morning, one for the evening. Work wasn't bad today, nothing out of the ordinary at all, and not even really busy either, kinda laid-back. Much of that was brought about by the weather, I think. We had at least three people cancel or no-show, probably people from north of here, where they had lots and lots of ice and snow. I was kinda late getting up this morning, then I had to scrape ice off of the truck, about a ten-minute job that I hadn't planned on, I guess that I had thought that it was going to just majikally disappear or something. Of course, I hadn't driven the truck since Friday, and it did have some trouble starting. For one thing, I'd been meaning to fill it up all last week and didn't, so there was probably some moisture in the gas line, not enough to keep it from starting, just enough to keep it from running well. I remedied that on the way home tonight. It was snowing occasionally on my way to work, nothing meaningful though, and it was about 17°F, but by mid-morning it was like 10, and supposed to get down to ZERO F tonight. I called Karen mid-afternoon, and she said that the Camry wouldn't start, and I recalled that it still has the original battery in it, or at least the one that it had when we bought it. But not anymore, it doesn't. I looked at it when I got home and thought about charging it, but I couldn't find my battery charger, so I said the hell with it and had Karen call Andy, and he got a battery for us and installed it. In the cold, cold wind, he did, and I'm really thankful for that. He's a good kid. Other things of interest that happened today. Nothing. But that's OK, interesting means trouble most of the time, and even if it's not trouble for me, it is some someone else and, as a human, I don't really want that. Procrastination is a vicious thing that gnaws on your guts and spits green acidic vomit into your eyes, and I really dislike that about it. And it's not really funny, either.
