Snizzle. Snow mixed with freezing drizzle. A rather nasty mix, it is. Especially since it had melted enough when it hit the streets to become a thin sheet of ice, heh. I got called in at 02:00 to do a case, another interesting one. And I also found out that I need to be in at 07:00 to do another one, a rather complicated one at that. O'well, that's what they're paying me for. And now to get another two hours of sleep... 13:03 Just got home. Yeah, I was supposed to get home at 10:00, but there was a drainage procedure that had to be done, and I knew that the tech coming on couldn't do it, and I was there and available, so I stayed. It was, to say the least, a challenging procedure, and everyone, including the patient, felt much better once it was done. And I will feel much better after I get a coupla hours of sleep. 21:17 Half-time at the Sugar Bowl, good game so far, but I won't see the end of it. I had Karen wake me at 19:00, but I didn't get up until nearly 20:00 anyway, and I'm not going to last very long, so I thought that I'd better finish this up. Next week is my early week, I go in at 07:00 except for Friday, when another tech wants off early. Cold out; I haven't been out yet, but there's a north wind howling, and it's supposed to get town to about 10°F tonight, and the wind chill will be below that. We didn't really get much snow, just a dusting on top of the snizzle.
