Again, a crummy night's sleep. It was at least past midnight when I dozed off, and I looked at the clock at 01:30 and seriously thought about getting up and seeing if I could see any meteors. Level head did prevail, though, and I stayed in bed where it was at least warm and cozy even if it wasn't sleep-inducing. Again, I got up late, Karen roused me, but I got to work on time. And work was pretty much OK, except that mid-morning the main CT machine went down. We had to use the Z for a coupla hours while they got the mouse out of the CAT scanner, heh. The mouse was dead and the cat was gone, hmmmm. Really, it was fuzz in the brake mechanism. Not cat fuzz, either, it was fuzz like you find under your bed. Fuzz bunnies. Heh. Mice, cats, bunnies. All fictional, of course. I'm going to bed super-early tonight, before 20:00, so I've just got about three minutes to finish this up. I've got a doc's appointment in the AM, my annual physical. I haven't decided to just stay NPO from now on and get the blood tests in the AM or maybe do that some other day. Guess that I'll figger that one out in the AM, see how hungry I am when I get up. Karen fixed salmon and broccoli for supper, it was good and filling and healthy. And a piece of apple pie a la mode for desert. OK, that's it. Short, sweet.
