Lousy sleep last night, don't know why, but it took me until midnight at least to get to sleep, then I woke up at 03:00 for a half hour, and again at 04:30. I needed Karen here to rub my back, and she was in Wichita. And the day was very busy. I was on the computer, but when we're short, that just means that I have to jump up and down a lot. When I left at 15:30 we had done 37 patients since 07:30, and many of those were multiple exams. Let's see, 24 patients in eight hours is one every fifteen minutes, so 37 is, um, maybe one every ten minutes? Humping all day, that's what it is. And that left me really tired, of course, but I do have Karen here to give me a back rub, at least, so I know that I'll get some sleep tonight anyway. Still enthralled with the keyboard. The music one, I mean. I'm finding more and more things to do with it, just think of what I could do if I found the book! Awesome prospect, that. I'm actually learning stuff as I'm playing, such as which notes sound good with which chords and which ones don't. Basic music stuff that I would already know if I had ever taken a lesson on anything in my life. Well, anyhoo, short and sweet tonight, I need to get at least eight hours of fuzzy Zs.
