So OK, after yesterday's marathon entry about the marathon weekend, my wonderful readers will get a brief respite. I hit the proverbial brick wall today about 10:00, and I really wasn't worth a damn after that at work. Luckily, my body hit the wall before my mind did, so I had some warning of what was to come, it wasn't really a surprise, heh. I had trouble staying asleep last night until about 05:00, and then I hit the snoozebar and finally turned the alarm off. I awoke in a panic at 06:20, not enough time to shave, shower or even check my email. I did make it to work on time, though. That was the high point of my day. I actually functioned pretty well, I just had to be a lot more, shall we say, deliberate than I usually am. I was the runner, and I didn't miss any veins and as far as I know I didn't make any mistakes... but I never really *felt* like I was functioning properly. Over the weekend whenever I had some spare time I was reading up on CSS, and I think that sometime soon I will transform this website... it should be interesting. I recall the first time that I tried doing HTML, it was atrocious, it really was. Giant .GIFs, broken links, everything that a beginner can do wrong, I did. But it was *so* much fun! I'm a little more sophisticated now, and I will make sure that my readers are protected against my inadequacies. Getting more than a little scattered here, so I think that I will post this up and hit the sack.
