So.

What's the difference between Jesus and a picture of Jesus? (Mom, don't look!)

Hilight this area-->It only takes one nail to hang the picture!<--

OK, so that's sick.

It's gray and drizzly tonight, and Karen is not feeling well, and I ain't doing so hot myself. I got up at 06:00 this morning on my own for some reason, probably 'cause I went to bed at 21:00 last night. Shaved, showered, ate my oatmeal etc. then went to work.

I was driving the console today, and I had a helluva time staying awake. My body and my mind cried out for sleep, but not loud enough to wake me up, heh.

I didn't smoke at work again today.

When I got home, the house was filled with a wonderful smell... Karen had made her vegetable soup, and it is wonderful. Soup and chili, two of the most wonderful things about cooler weather.

Cooler weather... that brings us to thinking about the coming energy crisis in middle america. Energy money got BabyBush into the white house, and it's been payback time ever since then. I had a friend at work tell me the other day that the consumer will always have to pay for goods and services, whether it's increased taxes or inflation or just increased wages of the people needed to produce that product or service. Theoretically, of course, that's right. But then, consumers seem to have to pay for price-gouging schemes like Enron... strictly engineered to make certain people rich beyond their wildest dreams. And that part just isn't right.

And BabyBush politics and policies are feeding these guys to the exclusion of everyone else... meaning, of course, that I ain't getting my share.

And now california has elected a man in bed with the energy cartels. California, alas! Those big money lawsuits brought against the energy companies that were in collusion with Enron that raped the California consumers these last three years... or two, whatever... will be settled by the new governor for a penny on the dollar or better. After all, what are friends for?

Schwartznegger is a puppet, a front man for the energy machine. Wait and see. Yeah, I'm just sayin'....

Anyways, California is now on the bottom rung of my list of places that have smart voters, right up there with Texas and Florida.

He's a f*****g actor, let him read his lines.

Not that it really makes any diff to me, of course, I'm here in Kansas and well-insulated from any craziness....

Just an off-hand, rhetorical question: just how stupid is it to have a cigar lighter occupying the same pocket as an Albuterol inhaler?

Yes.

I called Mike again tonight and begged off, mostly 'cause Karen is not feeling well. Tomorrow we'll make it over there.

A student at work has a Toshiba 370E pocket computer that he wants to sell me, complete with wi-fi and the works... but I really can't justify the money for it, since I have one that is quite serviceable. But I covet it, and the price is really good, he wants about half of what he paid for it. But no. I have to be strong about these things.

Thanx for being here!
