Firstly, an apology to those of you who have written to me anytime during the last month and have been smitten by my non-answering. I've got an account set up as nilky@nilknarf.net, for special purposes. It doesn't get much traffic, and I have a tendency to ignore it. Well, that seems to have bitten me in the ass... 'cause it was malfunctioning, and maliciously so, 'cause part of the malfunction seems to be that it would grab perfectly legitimate messages to nilknarf@nilknarf.net and put them in its little box. And not let go of them. I don't really know why, but I seem to have fixed it, and it's working now. Buncha buncha messages in there. Today's entry was gonna be a buncha unanswerable questions, starting off with: why are some people so murderously mean and shitty? But I soon decided that no, that's too much of a bummer, I'll leave it for later. Maybe much later, when I finally go off of the antidepressants. I didn't sleep very well last night, which kinda surprised me... I was *way* tard, maybe *too* tard. And it seems that I lost five pounds over the weekend, which is good. Pretty pud day at work, relatively light schedule, anyway. I was on the "Z" but there were no biopsies nor aspirations to be done, so I busied myself doing other things. When I got home, I found that Karen had painted the walls that we'd primed, and it looks really good. Kinda light green/olive color, picking up on some colors in the new furniture. Pictures when we get it done, not before. I anticipate that will happen this coming weekend. Tomorrow night I'm going over to Lawrence to work on a computer that I gave to a friend of JDs... the problem with giving away computers to new users... you need to be willing to give the time to keep 'em running. And I really don't mind that at all. I didn't mention it, but I got Jody's site looking much better now... that's http://jodyscott.com. I've just got a few more things to do before it's done... if you an ever say that a web-site is done, heh. Well, I gotta go put all of my pills into their little plastic day-coded receptacles now... us old people and our pills!
