I got called in at about 22:00 last night, because although the tech that was on could do CTs, she still couldn't do but one thing at a time, heh. Yep, they were really busy. I had just gone to bed and Karen was giving me a backrub, dammit. So I was there from 22:00 until about 23:40, came home and got called again at 12:30 or so. Then I slept until 03:45, when I went in to do a single patient. I noticed that JD was home then, and both Patrick and Brian were asleep in the living room. After I got home about 04:30, I stayed up until 05:30, waiting for the next call, but it didn't come, so I slept until about 10:30 or 11:00, when brother Jon called. No, the callerID says that it was after 13:00... so I had a good nights' sleep. Today has been spent mostly enjoying JD. He's a fine young man, and I am really proud of him. I'm proud of Tyler too, so I really don't want to be seen as playing favorites, but I see (and hear) a lot more regarding JD that I do of Tyler. And I love them both equally and dearly, of course. Anyhoo, JD and I vibrate on the same wavelength, and we can talk about his work and my work and our political/religious/moral philosophies and really get into stuff that we can correlate... if that makes any sense. Well, it does to me, anyway. 21:54 We have also been working on the hot tub all afternoon... still haven't got it fixed, mainly because we fixed the main problem that we started off with... the leak in the valve... we just cut the valve out and patched over it with a common rubber sleeve. However, when we started it up, there was a major leak on the pressure side of the pump/ I had an "O" ring for that, but there were no pieces of old "O" ring, so it probably adhered to the fixture, and that heeds to be fixed when there is light.... We're going to try to fix the top, too, if we can fine the right styrofoam tomorrow. The top was jumped on by a grandkid ? years ago, and is in many pieces. I will eventually buy a new top, of course, but until that becomes financially feasible. JD and I have been talking philosophy for the last coupla hours, very enjoyable and challenging for me, of course. Very enjoyable.
