Eh, 'nother day, 'nother dollah.... Work is getting depressing. I seem to spend more time looking at the clock now than I ever have. I think that it's got something to do with the increasing patient load and being short-handed. The tech that was on call last night was there much of the night, and he was supposed to be on call again tonight, but I volunteered to take it for him, since he's got the weekend too. And then I found out that the night tech that does CTs is off tonight... and that the FT CT evening guy was gonna be gone too. And the main evening x-ray tech that does CTs. There is one other tech on evenings that does CTs, but she's not very experienced, but she'll be able to do most of the exams that come up. I left about 16:30, and I'd just barely got home when I got called back in. I did three patients and came back home. I think that I'll be OK until midnight, when the CT evening x-ray tech goes home... I'm pretty sure that I'll get called several times during the night, so I'm gonna try to get some sleep between now and then. Goodbye, July... you were *way* too dry.
