Got fed up with ME and put W2K on it. Just re-arranged the problems, it seems. Somewhere around here I have a PS2-USB adaptor, and I can't find the damned thing. I've tried to get the mouse to work on a PS2 port... no go. Serial port... no go. USB port work great. But I've got one USB mouse, and I have to use it for *my* machines. So Andy'll just have to buy him one. Old computers... what a time sink. and now it's past 21:00 and I'm just getting started writing... I should be asleep by now, dammit, I have to get up at 05:30 in the AM, it's my early week, and it's not gonna be a fun one with another FT tech being gone. I have spent some time this weekend looking around at this old house... I'm letting the damned thing fall apart, and I really, *really*, need to do some major work on it. Paint and stain and stuff like that, just basic maintenance stuff, really, but it's been put off for so long that it's gonna be major. Callie spent a good portion of the day outdoors, she snuck out when Karen went to get the paper this morning. After seeing yesterdays rabbit picture, Karen wants to keep her indoors to protect the bunnies from her. Well, OK, whatever works. What works is that I take my pills and get to sleep now, that's what works. I hope.
