Notes

Firstly, http://www.fair.org/media-beat/940727.html, a link sent to me from Rob of Backward Rain. I had also seen another appropriate parallel, but I can't remember where or when....

Nextly, I'm really really glad that tomorrow is Friday, yes I am. Yep, another long hard day on the farm. And it followed yet another crummy night, dammit. I just gotta get back in the groove!

Karen and I went to the Y this afternoon, but before that we went by the vets... Karen had taken Callie (baby-cat) in earlier to see the vet.

She'd been impossible to find when we got home from Parsons, and Karen called me Monday at work to say that she'd come out from the closet and seemed really sick. I talked her into waiting until I got home, and I felt her belly and it felt like she had a broken rib and maybe internal injuries. Well, broken ribs make me feel pretty crummy, so I figgered that was what happened. And she continued getting better, but only little by little, and Karen took her in to see the vet today.

And they did some blood tests, and the vet said that there were no broken ribs... well, OK, I blew that one. If she was a person she could have told me what happened or didn't happen and I would have known.

So we stopped on the way to the Y and Karen was really worried... feline leukemia, that sort of stuff. We waited about 15 minutes for the vet to come out and give us the report on the blood that they'd taken earlier... WBC was high, and something else was, granulocytes, I think. So she's got an infection. He'd suspected as much earlier and he'd given her an antibiotic. Anyway, no FEV or leukemia, so that's good news.

This is only my second evening of exercising, and it really felt right and good, and I enjoyed it. Listened to the doors and Sunday Morning Coffee....

Strange thoughts, in no particular order...

  • "Culture" is divisive.
  • Anything that is not all-inclusive is divisive.
  • Politics is divisive.
  • Religion is divisive.
  • Taxation is divisive.
  • Love is not divisive, but it's damned rare in its pure form... whatever *that* means.

Nextly again, I want to sleep, sleep, sleep!

that should have been lastly, I guess, 'cause I'm done for now. Done, for now. Need that comma, heh.

O'yeah, todays picture is yesterdays sunset...

Thanx for being here!
