Well, yeah, I had the wrong date on yesterday's entry. In fact, I might have had several things wrong. But don't quote me on that... Bad night last night, I slept pretty poorly and had to get up too early. Yeah, I know, broken record here. For those of you who might not know what a broken record is... well, google it. I don't have time to explain. Accordingly, I'm pretty tard still, or is it again? I forgets. This morning I came in to a real mess... there had been a shooting, and the shootee bled all over the place. I clocked in early and got on the gloves and started cleaning... the night tech called about 07:05 and told me that she was coming over to clean up, and I told her not to bother, it was done. I've been in her shoes many times and had pricks on the day shift insist that I clean up after myself... not that cleaning up after yourself is bad, but sometimes it just can't happen if you're going to continue to provide patient care, y'know? Karen went to visit her aunts and cousins in Manhattan today, and she outran Tonight I will be in bed earlier, I promise myself! And tomorrow Karen and I go to the Y again... I'm somewhat sore today, but not too bad.
the storms coming home. In fact, the storms were so slow that she and I had time to go out to eat (at the Chinese buffet) and get home before it hit. Lotsa lightning and thunder but not too much wind... but the storm is pretty slow-moving, so we got probably an inch of rain, which we sorely needed. And then it's supposed to be cooler tomorrow, and then a big high will settle over the area for a week or two or three....
