Work, work work! Well, after I finally dragged my sorry ass out of bed at... noon. I was up until about 02:00 last night, just wasn't sleepy. I did awaken several times after the sun came up, but I was able to put my head under the covers and nod off again, heh. Love that C-PAP! The first order of business was to fix the cabinets. I futzed around for about an hour using the borrowed bar clamps and couldn't get it done, so I went out and bought another bar clamp that I could get a little more juice on. The bar clamps that I'd borrowed just had simple wooden shafts for tightening them, and what I needed was lots of leverage. I finally wound up using all three clamps in succession to get the damned thing back right, and it still isn't, it dropped about a quarter-inch, I hadn't noticed that before. It won't drop any more than that, though! So... with that done, I could work on my other project. Cleaning up the computer room, specifically, the desk. Hours later, I have many piles... some neat, most sloppy, of *stuff* that I have to do something with. Piles on every available surface. It seems that this is where But... I'm tired of cleaning, and, since I'm a whiney, self-indulgent guy, I'll just figger that I've done enough work for one day, and I'll go read some journals and download some more PocketPC freeware. O'yeah... it's officially SUMMER! Yeah, SUMMER! Oops, sorry, got carried away there, heh. I actually don't like summer very much, in fact, it's my least-liked season. Just 'cause of the heat and the bugs. Without the heat and the bugs, it'd be more like fall or spring, seasons that I can really cheer for. And with even *less* heat, it'd be like winter, which I like too. Tomorrow I'm going to do a little hardware installing and relocation... I need to move thunder down to the lower shelf after I install a chasis fan and a video imput card. Then I need to install some stuff in monster, my multifunction transfer panel, then I need to set the printer up where it's not necessarily convenient but where it won't get stuff piled on it so high that it's a hassle to use it. Then I need to majorly re-arrange cables and wires. But first I need to go out to Lowe's and get a coupla-three more power strips, always need more of them! And now... it's past my bedtime yet again, dammit! 23:00! And I haven't even had time to play yet! Waaaaah! In the Mail: On the shelf:
I got to last time that I did this, and then I kinda gave up, and the piles degenerated into the mess that I started with today. If I don't keep at it, exactly the same thing will happen again, I'll betcha.
