Bookworm. 5,361,010. Level 45. Best word: teatime @ 8100; longest word: tottered. The longest and best word should have been acknowledge, but the free version is limited to eight letters. Almost makes me want to get it registered, heh. Sam... O Sam! He's not really doing any better, but he's at least holding his own. He will occasionally lift his head, but he's not eating or drinking, just lays there. Doesn't appear to be in any pain, though, so that's good. However, Friday night, he was willing to move around somewhat, he got off of the couch and went into the guest bedroom and jumped up on the bed, anyway. And that's where he's been ever since then. I'll bet that his whole little body is sore... five or ten minutes in a dryer will do that for ya. And that's not even taking the heat into account. I got all of the clothes washed, and everything came out OK... after I sprayed everything, I soaked it all for a half-hour... surprised me how well it came out. Aside from that, I pretty much wasted the day. No problems with the back today at all, so I'm guessing that's the end of this problem for now. I haven't had to use the cane since Friday AM And I'm looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow. Yeah, I'm weird that way, I like my work. And I'm especially bored with being home and (shudder) daytime TV. I didn't actually watch much TV, but if I would've wanted to I would've been sorry. But it's really nice to be able to walk and not hurt. I really, really, need to start going to the Y, and I'm gonna start this week while Karen's gone. And I need to ask them to tailor a program for me to strengthen my back muscles. I know the stretching exercises from many times starting long, long ago, but maybe with the plethora of machines that they've got down there I could be doing something better. And dammit, it's 21:00 already, and I need to go to bed, I've gotta get up early tomorrow and go in at 07:00... it's my week to do that. In the Mail: On the shelf:
