Slightly better day today... I got up early, and stayed up, although it was really tempting to go back to bed. Got some outside work done, cut some trees down and put brush-away on the stumps... these were mostly trees growing in the fences, so I need to go back and extricate them once they're really dead. The reciprocal saw works really well on them. Andy came over and worked on the trimmer for me, he's an expert on small engines, but he couldn't get it going. A coupla kids had put un-oiled gas in it and the blower, and they're two-cycle engines... luckily, they didn't get either one of them started, so they aren't *really* ruined, they just need rebuilding. I've gotta go to sears.com and order a carburetor kit.... I was planning on killing some dandelions today, but it was too windy to spray, and then I forgot this evening... well, it's still pretty windy, it'll wait until tomorrow. Anyways, since the gas trimmer was not working, I got out the I dunno what it is about weekends lately, but I really don't enjoy them much at all. It's like, I need the structure that working gives me or something. That really doesn't make me feel very good about myself... As an example... the culmination of a coupla weeks worth of bookworm netted me a score of 1,227,320. Or maybe it was just a week, I had a score of 800K or so wiped out when the computer reset itself when I opened the webcam program. Speaking of which, it's not working now, don't go there.... In the Mail: On the shelf:
old electric one and worked on it for a coupla hours. I finally found out the the reel on the damned thing was broken, so that's something else that I need to get from Sears.
