Eh, first things first... go read this and come back. It's OK, I'll wait. Another "found somewhere on the WWW, by anon." I would love to be able to give whoever wrote it the proper kudos, but O'well. That reminds me of Kissing Hank's Ass, another wonderful story.... NOT anon, thankfully. Anyhoo, it was a day. Not too many patients on the schedule, but when I got there, there were two ER patients waiting 'cause the machine had broken down about 03:00 or so, and the engineers had just got it fixed at 07:00. And the day went pretty well, with the light schedule being supplemented by copious numbers of add-ons and ER patients. All in all, though, a pretty good day. Kim won some tickets this morning... tickets to the Final Four in New Orleans. Complete with air fare and accomodations. A lot of people are heartbroken that she's not taking *them*, and even more are upset at who she *IS* taking. I'm just happy for her, 'cause she's a big roundball fan, and how cool would it be if the Kansas Jayhawks would make it there this year! The only reason that she didn't ask me, I'm sure, is that I'm kinda luke-warm on basketball. Yeah, sure, Doug, whatever. I'm pretty much glad that tomorrow is Friday. And I'm getting kinda tired of getting up so early every morning... this week was the turn of the tech who's on vacation, and next week'll be my turn again. I might give him a coupla my days.... Karen fixed an excellent supper tonight, she's really doing well on fixing healthy, nutritious meals for us. We're gonna be getting a last taste of old man winter here starting tomorrow, and then next week I can start wearing my sandals to work again! Pretty good movie, but the slow start almost had me hitting the eject button. Luckily, I stayed the course, and it was just a little on the plus side, considering all the time spent setting it up. I wouldn't watch it again, or even really recommend it. It did bring tears to my eyes, but that's no big feat. And speaking of big feet... In the Mail: On the shelf:
