I didn't get called last night, and I did get a good night's sleep. I got up on time, too! And Karen got up with me! But O, she only got up to go fix Lacee's hair before she went to school this morning. She would never get up to fix my hair, heh. But it was nice seeing her in the morning, even for a brief spell. Today wasn't too bad a work, we were a tech short but since we weren't all that busy it worked out. In other words, if it had been a day when we had a full staff it woulda been really nice. As it was, I spent today on the console, just like I did yesterday... we have a very strict rotation about who goes where when someone is gone, which is OK, but it was easy to see that there was some jealousy about that. O'well. Tomorrow... we're going to be *two* techs short, and I suspect that it will be a bad day indeed... we already have a biopsy scheduled, and there is no way that one person can run the scanner during the day. We'll see what happens. Beautiful day today, high around 70°F... we missed some pretty good thunderstorms last night, they formed just east of Topeka and wreaked havoc on Lawrence and KC, but we got nary a drop of rain, nary a drop. Which reminds me of the pattern last year... storms would roll out of Colorado, On the other hand, rain makes my weeds grow, so really, why should I worry about it? I don't like having to cut my weeds. Yeah, I guess that I do need something to worry about, heh. In the Mail: On the shelf:
build up a head of steam and then fall apart just west of Topeka. And if that didn't happen, the storms behaved like last night... forming just east and heading east. Other storms look like they're heading this way, then they veer off to the north and dump three inches on Holton... Damn weather anyway, we need rain. Need, need, need rain.
