Eh, a day at work. It was disappointing to not be able to spend my whole day with Karen, but other than that it was OK. We had both decided to go to the Y after I got off work, but circumstances intervened, as usual... Patrick was here and Drew was here.... And once I get in the door and sit down, that's pretty much it for me. This evening my task was to go through my email, they really piled up during my absence, but I've got it handled now. Well, except for the 361 spams in my deleted file, most of the time I at least glance at the titles, but not any more, or at least not tonight. After supper, Karen and I watched a movie, see below for a short review. I need to go in an hour early tomorrow to help my old buddy Herman figger out a FoxPlus problem... it's been so long since I programmed regularly that I'm not really sure how much help I'll be though. Sometimes it's just helpful to have another set of eyes looking over those 20,000 lines of code... Jeeze, I miss JD and Tyler and li'l Annette! And warm Texas air! We had a tornado drill at the hospital today, and a community-wide one tonight. Yep, it's getting to be that season, comin' up really soon here in tornado alley. Tomorow I'll have some time to talk about politics and war.... Um. Lotsa hype about this one, but I'm sorry, I wasn't impressed. I was expecting to laugh more, but maybe that's just me, always needful of a laugh and scornful in my disappointment. In the Mail: On the shelf:
