Well, I had a good leg rub and a good back rub and I went right to sleep. And I woke up at 01:11, unable to breathe through my nose. Ripped off the CPAP. I figgered as long as I was up, I'd go to the bathroom. Came back and went right to sleep and woke up again at 03:33. One of my nostrils was unplugged, so I put the CPAP back on. I woke up again at 04:44. I thought to myself, "What is it with these numbers?" Then I pounded the snooze alarm until... you guessed it... 05:55. So, I really got a lot of sleep, and I do feel a whole lot better today, especially compared to what I felt like yesterday. And work wasn't really too bad, even though the same tech called in again today... he's actually going to be off until Monday, and I certainly hope that he gets better. Beautiful day here, it really was. I got off at 15:30 and it felt like it was about 70°F, just really nice. I had to go see the chiropractor, though, and when I got home from that, Karen mentioned going for a walk, so we did. We drove down to the trail and walked about a hal-f mile out and then back. We stopped at a chinning-bar and I tried to chin myself, and I couldn't even come close. Too much fat to hoist, not enough muscle to do it. Yes, yes, that will all change.... Several years ago, when I was still smoking and skinnier, I could do five without a real effort. I need to get back to that point. Tomorrow I'm gonna learn how to use my glucose meter, and then karen and I will attend another 3-hour class... that's gonna make for a long day again. In the Mail:
