Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

Yet *another* sucky night's sleep, dammit. Good, bad, good, bad... it's driving me nuts. Well, *one* of the things that's driving me nuts.

That, and BabyBush's boy Powell. I thought that Powell had some character, yes I did. Usta think that, don't any more. Any or all of the stuff that he presented could have been fabricated, and, as a good 'mericun, I need proof that my government isn't lying to me. 'Cause they have before. Heh... didn't't we just have this conversation?

And Powell, two months ago, with the same info... thought that it wasn't enough. Hmmm.

And then there's that whole idea that questioning the government is unpatriotic and, indeed, treasonous. And the "America - love it or leave it" attitude as a whole.

No thanx, I'll just stay here and irritate you....

In spite of being sleep-deprived, today wasn't really all that bed. Yeah, it was bad, but not as bad as yesterday.

Friday is scheduled to be a bad day, though. The tech that was off Tuesday is gonna be off again. And the other tech that works days was kinda threatening to be off tomorrow with his bad back, he just barely made it through the day today.

And Karen, poor gal, is once again feeling under the weather, she still hasn't recovered completely from her ear infection/crud/whatever it is that she's had ever since she came back from her cruise. I don't know what's up with that, but she's damned tired of it... she'll be OK for a few days, then back to square one again, it seems.

At least I don't really have anything bad the matter with me, I sez, knockin on wood. I had an old friend die the other day, though, smoking buddy. Coronary, complicated by several strokes. Just recently retired. Dammit. He was in excellent shape, 'cept for the smoking.

In other news... there is no other news from this quarter, it's the end of the ration for today.
