I got an interesting e-mail from the guitarist in Anasarca, a German death-metal band, wanting to use material from my Dying Diary in their song lyrics. I'm not really sure if I should feel honored or not... so I will. Feel honored, I mean. About the Columbia... I can't figger out why they would consider the debris dangerous. I can easily understand why they wouldn't want people moving it or just taking it, but *dangerous*? Maybe if they had nukes up there, then I could see it... but fuel residues? What the hell would there be that 3000°F wouldn't burn off? It really pisses me off when the government lies and most people blindly accept the lies. I'm kinda strange, I guess, because I don't believe everything that the government tells me. And with every lie, they dig that hole deeper and deeper. The first time anyone lies to me, I lose all faith in them being able to ever tell the truth... this goes for people, as well as other entities. Yeah, right, I have faith in almost nothing. Almost. And the recent commercials about marijuana... I assume that the government is sponsoring them... more lies. The problem with drugs is not the drugs, but the prohibition. And the problem with the government is that it lies. About damn near everything, it lies. The spot during the Super Bowl about the girl getting pregnant... because she smoked a joint? How f***ing stupid. She got pregnant because she let some guy get into her pants, that's how it happens. It's a whole separate problem, it's called Being Responsible for your Own Actions(™). And the other anti-drug commercials... the ones that state that drug users are supporting terrorism? Once again, it's Drug Prohibition that allows drug use to support terrorism. If drugs were regulated and sold by the government, they would be a lot harder for the kids to get, and there would be no need for pushers to give their money to overlords, who presumably give their money to terrorists. And the government could make money on it and lower our taxes. Yeah, right. So, government regulation = no drug problem? Well, not quite, but closer than what we've got right now. Once again, I need to emphasize that I'm against drugs... drugs and alcohol and free love. Well, no, I'm for free love, actually, as far as Karen will let me be for it. 20:25... The groundhog didn't see his shadow today in Topeka. Neither did anything else, as far as I know. Karen said that there was a sunset as she was taking Brian back to Lawrence, but I don't think that really counts, does it? I wonder if JD or Tyler heard the booms from the Columbia breaking up clear down south there... I read somewhere that they were heard in Houston.... O'yeah, I got the phones fixed yesterday finally, it was a line in the water on the floor, shorting the signal out... In the Mail:

Just got back from taking Karen out to eat at the Chinese place. She had rented a movie that we were going to watch, Girl, I think was the name of it, but I realized that I've got to go to work at 07:00 this coming week, so I need to get to bed earlier, and I don't have time to watch a movie.
