Well, I started the day off right. Instead of beating on the snooze bar, I just turned the damned thing off. Much nicer to not have to hit it every five minutes. The only problem with that is the fact that I didn't really wake up until 07:55. Oops... I was only a half-hour late for work.
I had to shower first, which brings up another subject... bathing. I like to take a shower at least every day, but in the winter, my skin is way too dry to do that. But two days is too long, and so is 36 hours. But I do every day and a half anyway. Something that I meant to mention yesterday... I went to Walgreens last night to get milk, and I passed by all of the candy bars. Yep, I did. Bought a coupla packages of sunflower seeds, though. Anyway, life without chocolate may not be all that bad, and I should be able to reward myself every coupla weeks with a Mint Dream. On another note, I decided a coupla days ago to see if I could make all of the cats indoor cats. The two older ones are confused, but after all, they're cats, and they seem to be doing OK with it so far. The first day they were pretty restive and downright nasty to other living creatures, but they're pretty mellow now. All of the talk today has been about the "big" snowstorm... we'll probably get several inches, and a lot of drifting. Most of the stuff, right now anyway, is north of here. It started snowing around 17:30, and I decided to go out to the new China Inn about that time. Roads were slick and quite a few people were having trouble, but I had none. I had a nice relaxed meal and came home and sat down and I haven't moved since. I really like that Toyota Camry in the snow, it's pretty sure-footed and the breaks are fantastic. Busy day at work, but everything was pretty much done at 16:30, so I left on time, even though I should've stayed over and made up the time that I was late for, but I felt like leaving, so I did. Damn, what a sentence that was, I'm glad that I don't have to diagram it. That was one thing that I loved in English class - diagramming sentences. It was probably the only thing that I excelled at in junior high, many people just couldn't get the hang of it. Another early night to bed.... In the Mail: On the shelf:
