Lazy day for me. Poor Karen started the day off with a headache, and she didn't really get over it until this evening. She's been under a lot of stress the last week, but that's all over now, and I think that she's just plumb worn out and catching up on her sleep.... I got out of the house once today to go to Walgreens to get her some cold Patrick had called earlier, wanting Karen to go to Lawrence and get Bryan, but she said no, and I was proud of her. She told him that they were old enough to make their own arrangements to get together without involving her. We never did hear what happened there. I'm feeling kinda strange, watching so many movies. I'm really not much of a critic, it seems that I really like everything that I see... and I *know* that 98% of *everything* is crap. Maybe I'm just a really lucky movie-picker so far? On a different note altogether, I still haven't gotten my notification from the registry about the exam that I took on the 18th... I figgered it'd be here by now for sure. I guess that I'll just keep waiting, since I really have no choice.... I watched Sum of All Fears last night, Karen watched part of it and then went to bed. I thought that it was a fairly good flick... About the same scenario tonight with Spiderman. Karen missed it, she was asleep by 19:30... I liked it, although it was pretty sappy and predictable. We started off wanting to watch Changing Lanes but the disk was damaged... need to get our money back on that one... it was a local rental. On the shelf:
medicine and that was it. I did watch a bit of the Jets game, but they looked like they pretty much had it wrapped up mid-way through the second quarter, so I lost interest in that.
