Karen said that there was a lot of midnight noise around here, but I surely didn't hear any of it. I slept well, up until about 07:00, and then I drifted in and out until about 09:00, when Karen got up. It was really nice, just being able to lay there. The rest of the day has kinda followed the same pattern, just really laid-back. We took down the xmas tree and I took all of the clothes that we're taking to goodwill out to the car so that we have no choice but to get rid of them. We also threw away a lot of stuff, just kinda sorting through stuff and tossing... That's really hard for us to do, for we're both packrats of different sorts. Karen keeps clothes and pictures, and I keep junk. I've decided that I'll keep the movies in a separate table here, since it's gonna be a daily thing probably. Karen rented several today, and we watched one tonight (Blood Work) with Patrick, and he and Karen are watching The Warriorsnow, but I'll watch that one later, otherwise I'd be up way past my bedtime. Yeah, bedtime. I have to go to work tomorrow. Karen's sister Debbie is coming up from Wichita for Karen's retirement party, which will be Friday. And I *do* have the day off Friday! The party probably won't last too long, it starts at 09:00 and we'll probably be home by 11:00 or so. Karen has lots and lots of friends down there that want to say good luck to her! Plus she'll get presented with a retirement check... that she'll spend on the cruise that she and Kim are going on next week. On the shelf:
Clint Eastwood... needs a medical advisor on staff, the incision for his heart transplant was in the wrong place. It should start at the sternal notch and extend, at *most*, to 5 cm above the umbilicus. His started about the middle of the sternum and went past his belt. Other than that, a damned good movie, 9 stars from me.
