Twelve hours of sleep makes Doug a happy camper, yes it does. Yep, from 17:30 until 05:30. Actually, the last several hours were kinda restless, and I thought about getting up but I didn't. I was the runner today at work, and it wasn't really too bad... I suspect that was mainly 'cause my attitude was much better, being rested and well-fed and all. And Karen and I went to see our financial councillor at 15:30, that took about an hour, and we both felt much better about the future when we were done. It's kinda like having someone manage the rental house... let the pros do the job, they know what they're doing. At least I really really hope so. We're supposed to get some precipitation tonight and tomorrow, so I went out on the back deck and covered the hot tub up... I still haven't got it cleaned out properly, but I haven't called anyone to fix it yet, either. That's next on my list... I have a very long list. So far, Karen hasn't mentioned dragging the xmas tree out, and I haven't reminded her of it, maybe we'll slide by this year! I don't know where we'd put the damned thing anyways. Speaking of ambidextrosity... I can use a mouse pretty good with my left hand, but very little else. Well, a coupla days ago at work, I picked up a pencil with my left hand and started to write in the log book with it while I was mousing with my right hand. After I had started to print the patient's name, I realized that there was no way I could write with my left hand. I really wonder what would have happened if I hadn't realized that I couldn't do it... could I have done it? I know that I couldn't consciously write left-handed... O'well, I guess we'll never know, will we? 'Cause that'll never happen again, and it's certainly not something that I could force to happen.... O'Yeah, it's OK to make up words, as long as you're not playing Scrabble™ with my mother.
