Yet another day enjoyably wasted. Although it wasn't really wasted at all, 'cause I enjoyed it. Got up relatively late 'cause I was up late last night, reading a piece that Dan had written in the 80s about a heart transplant patient... it was a lot longer than I had thought it was going to be, and it brought tears to my eyes pretty often, making it even a longer read. I'm getting brother Dan educated on web pages, and pretty soon you all will be able to read his wonderful stuff... stay tuned, it will be coming soon to a URL near you! We did go out to the hot tub twice today, and Lynn baked an excellent apple pie. One of the first things that I'm gonna do when I get home is get the hot tub working... we'll have to go buy a pie, though. I talked to Karen a bit ago, she's having trouble with the truck. I think that what's going on is the hydraulic clutch is out of fluid, at least I hope that's what the problem is. She told me about it a coupla days ago, and I thought that the floot mat was getting bunched up under the pedal, but I guess that I was wrong about that. Mmmmmm... another piece of Apple pie and a tall glass of milk! If only Karen were here to share it with me! Yeah, I'm getting a tad homesick. Well, not really homesick, I just miss Karen. Although she would be bored out of her gourd if she were here... you know that rule that says you can't have everything? That really sucks, it does. Tomorrow I get to meet the grand-nieces! I think that's what you call 'em, anyways. I haven't even seen their mother since they were born... or, come to think of it, since she was married... anyhoo, I'm looking forward to seeing them all, it's gonna be fun. Brother Dan pointed out that they both look like me....
