Well, OK. Things even out eventually. Whazzat called, eh, entropy. Where everything is flat, essentially. Flatlined, dead. The whole universe... that's hard to imagine. In fact, it is unimaginable, heh. Of course, we don't need to worry, we'll all be individually flatlined long, long before that happens. I just hope that I meet the giver of death before I meet the giver of pain. O'wait, I already met that pain guy, he had me knockin' on the other guys door a coupla times. So far, that hasn't worked out for them. In the end, though, it will. That train of thought was strange, I was going to talk about how much nicer the day was at work, and look at what happened. Is my mind funny, or what? Which reminds me of the guy who had a deaf wife and sixteen kids. A friend asked him why so many kids, and he said, "Every night when we go to bed, I ask my wife, 'Do you want to go to sleep or what?', and she always says, 'What?'" Well, this is getting out of control here. Today is Kim's birthday, and Karen made Lasagna (yes, Karen's Lasagna deserves to be capitalized!) and everyone is going to be over here for a while, a short while, I hope. According to Mapquest, my trip will take 19 hours and 7 minutes, not counting potty breaks. Dan's wife Lynn sent me directions today, and I think that I will be changing my route from the original mapquest one. I'm getting one or two Nigerian Scam spam-mails every day now, have been for the last month. Business must be good... or bad. Well, it's bad business to give your money away, but good for the guy that gets it, heh. There are still more suckers out there than crooks, and that keeps the crooks happy, I guess. 21:20... Good Lasagna. And an excellent birthday cake too, a Snickers™ one. Beautiful day here, I heard, temp around 70°F. Of course, I was at work until 18:00 almost... it's a long story, remember I said that we weren't busy? Well, at 16:30, when I was supposed to go home, we got a patient that needed some pretty intensive image reformations done... and the evening tech *can* do them, but I can do them better and faster, of course. So I stayed. Right now, I'm burning CDs to listen to whilst on the drive. Pink Floyd, mostly, but I'll take a few others along, like the Doors and some Mannheim Steamroller/Chip Davis... I really need to get to sleep now. Maybe I can take off early tomorrow and get ready to go... I want to leave really early Friday morning if I can, like about 03:00 or so.
Well, everyone is gone, and I should get to bed. Actually, everyone *isn't* gone, Lacee is staying the night, then Karen is taking her to school in the morning. Karen is off the rest of the week, she's gotta use up those days before she retires....
