Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

And yes, it is a pretty rare philosophy that can be expressed in two paragraphs.

Actually, it was Tyler that got me thinking along those lines, after he graduated from HS his constant litany was, "It don't matter." I think that he's moved on, heh. At least he's got a GF now, so something matters.

When I got to work this morning, the 07:00 tech told me that he was going home... he'd been hacking around for the last week and it finally got to him. So we ran all morning and a good part of the afternoon, but I did get to leave at 16:30 OK. Unfortunately, the sick tech was on call, so I'm taking that for him tonight.

I talked to my guy about the job in KC tonight, let him know that I really wasn't interested in making any lateral moves, and he said that he understood that. The hospital in KC wasn't willing to make a commitment past two weeks anyway, so it was a moot point.

Which reminds me... someone whom I respect intellectually recently was writing something out and showed it to me, and it included the phrase, "mute point"; I gently corrected her and got an argument, so I shut up about it. I got the mute point, I did.

I have alway really liked mispronumciations and spoonerisms and word tricks in general. The only thing about words that I hated was when kids made fun of other kids names... like calling me Frankenstein instead of Franklin, and other mischief like that... just one of the ways kids can be so cruel to each other. I didn't really mind being called Franklinstein, and I developed a pretty good stump-walk and drool...

Last night wasn't good for sleeping at all, I had nightmares, and not the enjoyable kind either. It's barely past 21:00 and I'm yawning too much to write any more....

Thanx for being here!
