I was up late last night, don't really know why, I just was... something like 01:30 before I actually went to bed. The little girls supposedly went to bed about 23:00, but I caught them giggling in the bathroom a little after midnight and sent them back to their room. Then the damned cats and kids woke me up around 07:00. A little later, the girls talked me into going to the donut shop to buy calories. I should know better at my age, but I don't. Finally the kids got to really be a PITA, and Emelie's mom came over and picked her up. Lacee settled down then, nobody to bounce her insanity off of. Two kids are bad. One kid is OK. I never noticed this until I had my second kid, of course. Speaking of my kids, I got to talk to both of them today. I'd called Tyler and left a message on his machine, then I'd called JD. Tyler called about two hours later, so I got to talk to him, and JD and Annette were over there, so I got to talk to JD too... it was really good to hear their voices, ti's been a while. Karen and I got some stuff done around the house, nothing really big, but we did make a dent in some cleaning. Lacee had tried to fry some eggs and I think that she dropped a couple on the floor and didn't clean it up very good, just covered it up with a towel... I'm sure that Karen will let her know about it next time she's over here. I should be in bed by now, I think that I will be shortly. Beautiful fall day here, it was.
