I got another good night's sleep last night. Friday I cleaned up my CPAP and adjusted the harness, I think that it had been keeping me awake 'cause it was slipping and not working right. Today we were wakened when Brian called from Matts about 07:30, and then I was called by the hospital at at 08:52, had to go in and do one patient. Did that one, came home and got called at 10:57. Did that one, got called at 12:23. Then I had a long sit-down, got to watch the Chief's game, they won by a freak play, but it'll go in the "W" column regardless. My last call was at 18:04, to do my 4th patient of the day. While I was there, I did my 5th too. Nothing really hard nor interesting, but two out of the five patients I did today had hepatitis type C. Today's picture I did get called again by the night tech, but it was just an easily-answered question. Tomorrow I was supposed to go in at 07:00 but the other guy has an appointment at 15:45 so I traded with him... after work, I have to go get a passport-type picture taken for my applications, one for the temp tech people, one to take the registry exam for CT, I need to get that done pretty quickly... after unnecessarily putting it off for so damned long. And I kinda want to go to bed early, just 'cause...
is an example of the ureteral plume that I discribed a coupla-three weeks ago here. I could only find a unilateral picture, darn it. And I'm having trouble finding the link, 'cause I haven't rebuilt the index on my search engine for a while. Anyway, back to the picture: you can see the hips on either side, and the plume of contrast is just to the right of center, going into a bladder that is full of urine... this picture represents the first of the contrast to be squirted into the bladder.
