Today was a beautiful day, high about 75F or so. I missed most of it, of course, being a working person. And I did have to work harder than I wanted to today... ran pretty hard this morning, got to trot some this afternoon. I got off right at 15:30 and came right home. Karen was working 09:00 - 13:00 today, so I thought that I'd find her at home, but she wasn't, she got home about ten minutes after I did. Lousy night's sleep again last night, I don't know what's going on there. I'm on call tonight, I'm hoping that I get to sleep all night, else I will really be in bad shape. My call times lately have been rough on me, that really needs to change. I'm putting the nilky-cam up again, it's at HTTP://members.cox.net/nilky. Please don't expect too much, at least this evening, I'm going to be sleeping pretty quick. In fact, don't ever expect much. That way lies happiness. Don't expect much, and that's what you'll get... not much. Expect a bunch and you still won't get much, but you'll be disappointed about it. One of my co-workers is having a party Saturday night, and I'm really looking forward to it... Karen and I hardly ever socialize, and this is going to be a musically-inclined bunch, so it should be really fun. And then he next day is our anniversary, eighteen years! Gee, these things are pretty short if I leave out religion and politics... politics: A word formed from the latin poly, meaning many, and tics, bloodsucking creatures. No, that's not original, it was on a joke list. I don't know why, it's not a joke.
