Yet another do-nothing day, I fear. Well, I'm gonna get some clothes washed for work in a little while... otherwise, nada. Actually, I have been getting some stuff done, like moving files and programs onto the newer computer. I've been kinda working on that for a while, but I'm finally getting close to being done. I've decided to go with XP for right now, it seems to be working well, none of the problems that I had been told to expect. One of the biggies... I've moved my editing tools for nilknarf.net, that means that I'm getting close, heh. 19:40... Weather... boring, but almost not. Buncha thunderstorms formed just west of here, and moved... northeast. Yep, missed us again. We did have a thunderstorm hit us yesterday afternoon, though... we got an official 0.03 inches of rain. I think that we really got more than that here, though, maybe as much as 0.05! Yep, there are cracks in our yard that would be dangerous to toddlers.... The question was: How many people were born between September 3rd and 13th, 1752? I'm supposed to be at work at 07:00 for the next two weeks, which means that I need to change my sleeping habits somewhat, and probably start taking my shower at night instead of in the morning, 'cause Karen takes hers in the mornings. Yes, I do automatically defer to her, and no, I'm not a wimp, I'm just courteous. I made goulash last night, and we finished it up tonight; Patrick and Lacee even liked it, surprised the hell outa me. I don't make it very often, and this time we had red bell peppers, not green ones... tasted the same, just looked different.
Well, the day went pretty much as planned, didn't do nothin'. Nilknarf.net was down most of the day, it just came back up so I need to switch computers and check mail. Patrick and Lacee were here for a while, then Patrick went over to Steve's to play games while Lacee stayed here. I think that she's staying all night, but I'm not really sure about that.
I got it right... lotsa other people didn't. I'll bet a dollah that every one of my readers can get it right, though.
