Another record-setting day for busy-ness. Start off the day with a motorcycle trauma and it can't hardly get any worse? Guess again, grasshopper! Never say never, 'cause it can.

I stayed over until 18:00 or so, we finally got stuff all done. The radiologists were still way behind, despite calling in help earlier. I decided that I didn't really care, my part was done and I was going home. Sometimes, enough is enough, sometimes it's more than enough, and I'd had my share.

Karen and I went for a walk after I got home, a fairly short one, due to my legs being what they are, and we tried to figger out what to do tomorrow... we are going away for the weekend, don't know where yet, just gotta get away by ourselves.

We might do the scenic drive between here and Manhattan, we've talked about that for years and never done it, and tomorrow is going to be a nice day, the weatherman says. That would be a nice day trip, or maybe just a byway on the way to somewhere else... Manhattan, Abilene, maybe the little German town south of Salina, I can't remember the name, but I've never been there, that might be fun. Linsburgh, that's it.

Well, it's actually The Flint Hills Scenic Byway, and it looks like a nice little day trip that we might stretch a little bit into a two-day trip.

And now I'm hitting the sack, so I can have enough energy to have fun the next two days....

Thanx for being here!
