Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

Well, I did accomplish one thing today... I have a relatively clean keyboard. Yep, I spent about a half-hour with a bottle of alcohol(Thanx, JD!) and cotton balls, cleaning off five years or so of grime. In fact, I got this keyboard on 25 JUL 1996.

I like being able to look things like that up!

Anyways, the keyboard is much prettier than it was. Types the same, though.

OK, some more stuff on the pledge of allegiance thing. Baby Bush says that he will ask future judge candidates about "under god" because he's the one who gave us all of our rights anyway. This is notwithstanding that the constitution declares that there shall be no religious test for public office. According to Bushie, any kind of zealous xian will do.

No, seriously, now... if parts of the constitution are getting in your way, well, just ignore it, it's the will of the people, after all. Majority rules, right?

Actually, in almost all countries where the majority rules, there tends to be *no* minorities. Heh, ever think about that? Where did they go, huh? Where did they go?

And congress... it's really hard to believe that only three (3!) congresspeople supported the constitution out of both houses! I don't know who those brave souls (sorry) were, but I'll bet my bottom dollah that they don't get re-elected.

Why, them people made such a racket getting to the right side of the aisle you couldn't even hear the constitution shattering over the clatter of their principles hitting the floor and bouncing about.

Bitter. OK.

Got a lousy sleep last night, and I got up much earlier than I wanted to... this seems to be a weekend pattern with me lately. I must've woke up ten times last night, I would get up, wander around and feel like going back to sleep... and I would, for fifteen minutes. Rinse and repeat, repeat, repeat.

Karen woke up with a headache and she took a half of a pill, woke up again two hours later still with a headache and took the other half and slept another hour and was finally all right.

Shortly after karen got up, the front door opened... it was Lacee, running away from home. After about a half-hour, Patrick was here too, then they all went away until Karen came home alone about 19:00. We went out to the New China Inn and just got back. I still love that place.

I joined a local forum today, the one at CJonline.com and I'm evidently one of only two atheists on it, should be interesting.

Tard for some reason. Didn't go to the Y today, either, I should've. Didn't mow the weeds, either. I'll get up early tomorrow and do that. Riiight.

Thanx for being here!
