Writing by candlelight tonight; we lost our power before the storm came through about 19:00 and it's still out.
Karen and I have been driving around, enjoying the AC in the Camrey, but it's cooled down somewhat now. We just stopped and got malts on our last foray, not that we really needed them, but once Karen put the idea in my mind, there was no going back, you know how I am about stuff like that....
Anyway, Lacee stayed the night last night and my morning schedule was thrown way off... I forgot to take my pills and I had to drive all of the way back once I figgered out what was wrong. It wasn't easy figgering out what was wrong, either.
It was a long, busy day, too. Wore me out. Then Karen and I had to meet with the re-finance lady... she'd gotten our credit report back, and it wasn't pretty. More on that later, maybe, as soon as we get it cleared up.
The power is still out, dammit, and there is no way that I can get to sleep without a fan and my C-PAP.
And suddenly it's the next day, all of that is in the past... but not posted. I hate to leave an entry so short, but that's the way it works some days, dammit.
