No, I'm not going to bury any live cats, either. Went to the doc today, bright and early. He said that he thought that I was fat and outta shape, so that makes it pretty much unanimous... He was surprised and pleased that I'd quit smoking, though. He said that he had me pegged as someone who would never be able to quit. Anyway, I'm getting lipid studies done tomorrow, and on the 13th I'm getting the pulmonary function battery done, that should be interesting. The doc also advised me to do the weight-watchers thing, which I probably will do, they have an active group at work, and Karen has all of the materials. He also told me to really take it easy on the exercising, work into it slowly, which was my intention. Some things I go all out on, but exercising isn't one of them. I don't really want to have a body I'm proud of, just one that I can live with... most of what I need to do, I think, is stretching and toning, and if I change my dietary habits, everything should fall into place within six months or so. He also quadrupled my BP meds, and I've got to remember to call back in a week or so to let him know how they're working. So, Karen was off today, they're really slow at BC/BS right now... I came home and the house smelled wonderful... toll house cookies, and my resolve to eat well and wisely was postponed for just another day. I can't just let things like that happen, though. I really need to develop some will-power, dietarily. I dunno... this really sucks... no drink, no smoke, no eat-um goodies. Actually, I don't mind the no drink, no-smoke part. But Damn! Them cookies is ummmmmm-good! Before I forget, I need to have the following people e-mail me, 'cause I've never been able to get my address book back from outlook... Eileen, Tod, Suzanne, Joe, Mary, Linda S, Marion and Gaylen. And anyone else who wants me to e-mail them, of course! Cooler here today still, I don't know when the warm weather is coming back, but I think that this weekend is gonna be cool and rainy again. Well, damn, I have to re-boot this machine, so I'll stop here for tonight.
