Well, it's almost Friday, anyways, and that's (almost) always good. I got up on time today, and got to work on time, and work was OK. I almost got to leave early, but I tarried a minute too long. Which is OK, I would rather keep the vacation time.... Trying to think of something interesting to say... O'yeah! I almost forgot! Duke got beat tonight, the #1 seeded team. KU had spent the season flip-flopping with them for the #1 spot, and now they're out. KU, of course, doesn't play until tomorrow night, and I'm hoping that they can go All. The. Way. This year. No, I don't know why, just 'cause. Just from out of the blue... about half of the people who get convicted of murder here in Topeka have been found guilty of taking a life before, either murder or manslaughter. None of them, however, have used a dog (or dogs) in the commissions of their crimes. It takes a long time for these fads to get here from either coast, y'know. No, the case you're thinking about was in Riley county, about seventy miles west of here. I think that they got those people for simple manslaughter, and I think that they're both out of jail now. Cheese, that was ten years ago, how'd you remember that? That was the case where the schoolkid got off the schoolbus and was ripped to pieces by two Rotweilers.... Karen, Kim and Lacee are in KC tonight, celebrating Lacee's birthday, which was yesterday... I hope that they're having fun. Weather here: cold. And windy. Supposed to get to 10F tonight, but up to 50F tomorrow. Springtime in Kansas!
