2191 days... six years, come the end of the month. Like last year, I have no idea of what to do to celebrate. Maybe I'll think of something, or maybe a kindly reader will give me a suggestion. I'm willing to wait and see. Six years is about two centuries in internet time, thirty-six dog years, 8/27ths of a cat's life. A lucky cat. Of which there are very few. Everyone, remember to spay and/or neuter (don't take ANY chances!) your children! A mind is a terrible thing to waste, a waist is a terrible thing to see in most cases, and ovaries are terminally dispensable. And some sentences, people and lives just plain make no f***ing sense. Speaking of planes, I heard that the B-1s are developing cracks, but that we, the taxpayers, shouldn't worry about it. OK, I will really really try to do what the government tells me. Just this once. Karen was off today, and she had both Patrick, who stayed the night after teaching her how to play chess, and Lacee, who arrived just about a minute after I left this morning. Karen had a rough day, she says, and I believe her. One kid is fun, two kids aren't, unless they're grown or asleep. Speaking of kids, the Catholic church is really in trouble... covering up criminal activity for years and years. And trying to justify it. Stupid, stupid. Speaking of crooks, Bill and Hillary aren't. Finally exonerated of any wrongdoings in Whitewater, which was essentially a stupid Arkansas real estate deal that went bad. I can't remember how many millions of bucks the f***ing repiglicans spent of our money on that one. Wonder how much money'll get spent on the Enron deal? Enron, of course, is pretty obviously just another texan oil/power deal gone wrong, cain't be no politickin' or bribery or power-dealin' going' on there, heh? OK, enough ranting for tonight. I had a fairly good day at work, sitting all day mostly at the console. Usually I don't particularly like sitting there, but today if was OK. I even left a half-hour early! However, I had weird dreams again last night, kept waking up and thinking that it was all real, then realizing that no, I was safe in my cozy water bed... then I would dream the same damned dream again, only a little further down the time-line. The dream had to do with Karen two-timing me with a really ugly one-legged guy. I don't know where my head comes up with this shit sometimes.... Kim came over for supper, then Steve brought both kids over, they went out to eat with their Kansas City grandparents. They didn't stay too long, they're staying with Steve tonight. I'm really going to bed early tonight, though. Really really, like right now, it's about 20:15.... O'Yeah, Happy Spring!
