Busy, busy Monday, as usual. However, I got there at 08:00 and I left at 16:30, just the way I was supposed to. We now have new rules, no OT unless the Big Boss pre-approves it. Which is almost impossible, since by the time we know that we need to stay he's out of the building.... And he knows that, too. Budget crunch, every coupla years this goes down... cut out all OT, cut out supplies, cut, cut, cut.... BS, just so much BS. I talked to my buddy Joe from Respiratory Therapy tonight, he's celebrating his 41st birthday. I miss him, and all of the other night people. I wish... I wish that I could have everything that I want, that's what I wish. Going back to nights doing x-ray would kill me, I know that. There are never any easy answers. Hell, the questions are getting harder and harder, come to think of it. Legs, feet hurt. Busy Monday, like I said. Still, People must think that other people are stupid, heh. So, it's after 22:00, and I need to get to sleep so I can get up early in the AM. Supposed to rain some tonight and some tomorrow too. We need about an inch a day for about two weeks.....
when I left at 16:30, I was energetic enough to drive out to the old White Lakes Mall and check out some cases at a computer store there. They want *way* too much money for them, the good deals are all on eBay, I guess. Still, it would be nice to buy stuff locally... but not at twice the price.
I can't believe that I said that. Of course they do, and of course they're right.
