My first real whole day, it was. And a kind of sucky one, too. Workwise, that is. Not really all that busy, but confused... nothing went as planned all day long, so pretty soon we threw out all plans of planning and went with the flow. That didn't work either, but at least our plans didn't go wrong, since we didn't have any. Small victories, even if you have to make them up out of thin air, are worth something. It was my day on the console, and I couldn't stand it any more about 14:00 and turned it over to someone who wanted to sit down, I was really tired of sitting down. However, after a coupla hours, I was ready to sit back down again, but by that time we were short on people and there was no sitting down to be had. Karen and Kim and I watched the KU basketball game, and we were all basket cases by the time it was over. KU won by about ten points, but it was undecided up until about two minutes were left in the game. This is the only time of the year that I watch college basketball, and I never watch the pro games. Just don't interest me in the least. After KU loses, or when they win it all, that's it for me, I'm done until next year. Fair-weather fan, that's me. Whether it's wars or basketball games.... Beautiful day today, I heard. About 75F, but by the time I got off work it was about 55 and dropping. Close to freezing tonight, and then in the 40s for a high tomorrow, but warming up again over the weekend, but only to about 60. Damned back is tightening up again on me, so I guess that's time to go to bed and let it heal for eight hours or so...
