Well damndamndamn. I had about 3/4 of the day written up and then I blew it away. Accidentally, of course. I re-booted the computer without thinking... that was the second mistake... I wrote without saving, that was the first one. Today was pretty dull for me... I got out of bed early and I've been messing around with old computers for most of the day. Getting frustrated with old computers... I should just throw most of this junk away and be done with it, but that's just not my style, I'm afraid. I've still got every computer part that I ever bought. Karen slept at the hospital last night and she said that it wasn't too bad, Betty slept all night. There was an incident right before I called tonight, though... Karen had left to get something to eat, and when she got back Betty was out in the hallway arguing with the nurses, thinking that she'd been kidnapped. Medically, Betty is doing pretty good, the docs said that she had a simply staph infection, so that should go well. Karen still won't be coming home until Monday, though. I'm trying to work with Linux again, that's why I'm working on the old machinery, trying to get it functional. Not having much luck so far though. I need to get a decent machine just for linux....
