Kim (who has recently gotten back on-line) has reminded me that I need to re-do the *family* pages. I have not touched them for, well, years, literally, and in fact I even really forgot that they were there. Kinda like someone reminded me about a year ago that I needed to finish the *smokin'* pages... Ok, I'll get to everything, bye 'n' bye... In the meantime... Geez... I just went and looked at the family page, it is disgraceful, to say the least. I have a camera, and I can be dangerous with it, once I get motivated. Today was... well, a Friday. Fridays at work are really worse than Mondays, because all of the docs order the stuff that they've forgotten to order throughout the week on their in-patients, and then they want the results before they take off for the weekend. Yes, I realize that that's an unkind statement, and I'm certainly not talking about *all* docs, there are really only a very few who do that. Enough, however, to be a big pain in the ass. And it's not every weekend, of course, just the Fridays that we're short on coverage. Well, I guess that's pretty much every weekend. So, I've got the webcam set up again with new free software, it's VisionGS, and it seems to be working better than the other two that I've tried... a lot more flexibility, and the picture quality even seems better than the others that I've tried, but I don't know how that could be, using the same camera and base software. O'well, there are plenty of things that I don't understand... oops, you didn't really hear me say that.... O'yeah, tonight's picture has been played with, if you couldn't tell... I don't really look like that on Fridays.... I got to take three beautiful girls out to supper tonight, even though karen didn't really want to invite me initially, so I had to invite myself. We went to the Cracker Barrel and had a decent meal at an atrocious price after an indecent wait. I think that the ladies pretty much ignored my grumbling (which I did keep to a minimum, I was on my very best behaviour...) and enjoyed themselves. And I enjoyed myself, too, and maybe they'll invite me to go out with them again sometime. Lacee is staying the night with us, and Karen and I will head out for KC late tomorrow morning, so there won't be an entry tomorrow, but I'll catch up on Sunday, I promise.
