Man, it was hard getting up this morning! I went by the bank, then I went in to work early and then I looked for the radiologist that I wanted to apologize to, and I found out that he hadn't really been offended at all. I even explained to him why he should have been offended, and that didn't work either. He told me that if he was offended, he would have told me... I, on the other hand, tend to hide my feelings, so I kinda expect other people to hide theirs too. Not that I had spent too much time worrying about it... Another busy day at work, they're all busy it seems. The hospital is putting in a MRI scanner, and they've hired a supervisor for MRI and CT. This is unfortunate, 'cause I've really liked working with my present supervisor. The guy that they've hired is a former student of mine, and I'm sure that we'll get along just fine. Susan, sorry 'bout today's picture... it's Monday, after all! The burning question of the day: has Osama Ben Laden ever existed, or is he a fiction of the CIA/FBI/Military Machine/etc? More importantly, will Nilknarf.net ever be considered by the majority of the North American population as an erudite source of innate wisdom? If the terrorists actually strike In fact, can't they claim that they stopped a terrorist act ever day that, uh, terrorists don't act? Additionally, didn't they tell us that they wouldn't tell us? Would they have said that and then went on and told us anyway? Do they lie all of the time or just when their lips move? Enron. Imus had it right... take their money and houses and cars away and then beat them to within an inch of their lives. Give the money back to the people that lost it.
tomorrow, will that be a feather in the cap of our intelligence services or another black mark because they were unable to prevent it? Additionally, if nothing happens, will they claim that it's because they stopped it?
