I didn't get to sleep very early last night but I got up kinda early, around 09:30. The winter storm blew around us so we didn't get any snow at all. I've been thinking about it all weekend, and I've decided to apoligise to the radiologist. What I did was right, but I did it in a mean-spirited way, and I really feel badly about it. Today was pretty much a do-nothing day... I got Kim's machine running finally, but the CDROM won't work - windows just doesn't see it, even though I installed it from the CD... go figger. It seems like this happened to me before on something, but I don't remember what I did about it. She's just mostly wanting to get connected anyway, and she'll be able to do that OK... it's just that if she wants to load any programs, she'll have to bring the box over here and I'll do it through the network. So I hooked up an old 100 box that I have Linux on, and I'm playing around with that again. Trying to get it to run SETI but I'm having trouble getting the program, seems that I've forgotten most of the damned commands. They're coming back, slow but sure... I hope! Even if they don't, no big loss. I really do want to get a box running apache, though, and have a back-up for the nilknarf.net HTML stuff at least. There's a way to do that through the router, but I haven't messed with that yet. I need to get up early tomorrow, for various reasons, so I guess I better get my butt to bed now...
